This design I have been working on is my interpretation of a general "bushcraft" knife. A dependable, versatile, all-around knife for use in the wilderness.

The steel is 5/32 inch O1 high carbon tool steel, heat-treated in an electronically controlled furnace to an RC of 59. The blade is equipped with a hair-shaving sharp and mirror polished scandi grind. The knife's cutting edge is 4 inches in length, and has a full-sized 4.7 inch handle of medium thickness.

I've been holding on to these (high-end stabilized and dyed maple burl) scales for a while now, and I am relieved that I have finally put them to some good use. Difficult to photograph, but the handle is composed of dark blues, light blues, rust colors, and the occasional bit of white.

The handle is contoured to a comfortable coke-bottle shape, and just about every part of it is rounded, smoothed and polished. This is to minimize "hot-spots" when working with the knife for long periods of time, no matter what grips you're utilizing.

A hand-made leather sheath is included; made of 7-8 oz leather, stitched with waxed artificial sinew. It is dyed java brown, and has a high-sheen water repellent finish. Also included is a dangler, made versatile with both a removable pin and a snap.

Price: $255.00 plus $5.00 shipping
SOLD

The first who says "I'll take it" either here, through PM, or through my email gets it. I prefer PayPal, but am open to other methods of payment.

Yeah I lucked out with those scales. Good stuff.

That is a really nice looking knife.
I usually don't like dyed wood; this stuff looks really cool- almost like maple that is turning to stone.

I was also admiring that dangler design. Do you sell them separately?

Thanks. I got the removable buckle idea from the leatherworker Talfuchre. He's a good guy. And I figured that having the snap would add to it's versatility.

And yes, I'll ask Amber what we'd price them at separately. Just contact me PM or at adventuresworn@gmail.com. We have a few different dye/color options as well, and the option for a stainless steel hardware instead of brass.

Thanks for looking,
Cody
