Nice little flat ground clip-point out of 3/16" O1 and mesquite. Just a hair under 9" overall, 4 1/2" tip to scales, with a rough polished satin finish. I still need to put the final edge on 'er, but other than that she's ready to go. Comes with one of my ugly leather sheaths-that I actually took the time to make uglier:o;). It's pretty heavy-duty, though:thumbup:

$110Sold shipped and Paypal'd. Paypal only please (walterdavis15 (at) msn.com) and please post an "I'll take it" here.

Walter - Fantastic work as usual. There is only one thing better than this clip-point... and it is... the one that you just made for me... LOL. Folks, Walter is one the the nicest and most upstanding people you will ever get to deal with. Buy with confidence!!!

Great work Walter! That Mesquite is beautiful, and the handle looks extremely comfy!

:oThanks for the good words, guys! I took this ones ugly micarta twin out playing today and I really liked it. I'm a pretty big guy, and these turned out to be just the right size for me. Small and light enough to forget when it's on your side, but hefty, hardy feeling in hand. I think mine will end up making its way on more than a few hikes with me, and you'll see more in this size from me in the future.

Wish ya'll would make more sheaths for lefty's! there is some really nice work in here, but we southpaws get overlooked

What kind of grind is on the knife?
What is the thickness of the handle?
Don't you sign your work? You should, it's very good.

jvan, thanks for the compliment, this one is flat ground. The handle is just under 3/4" thick in the palm swell. I do sign my knives (though I have forgot one:o), I engrave my name on the spine. I will eventually start etching my name or logo on the side, but for now just a name and date.

Thanks,

Walter

Just ask the maker for a left handed sheath , most will make one at no cost if you buy the knife .

Definitely! Being right handed, I tend to make most my sheaths for righties, but making a sheath for someone left handed isn't any harder, just takes a day or two to get it finished up. I can always make a similar knife to fill the left-over sheath;)

Guys, Walter's work is FANTASTIC... some of the best that I have seen. You won't be disappointed!

I'm going to throw this one up there one more time, at $100 even, paypal and shipping included.

Walter
