This is a very lightweight knife with orange micarta handles. The steel is 3/32 O1 and the handle has been sketeltonized to reduce weight. This is a great lightweight knife for outdoor or indoor activities.

The handle is extended over the blade for stiffness and to provide thumb support on top and on the side. Fastened with colby bolts.

Overall length 8 1/2", about 1 1/2 at widest point, flat ground to 0.040 and hand finished to 600 grit.

Comes with orange kydex sheath.

Price $100.00 + 5.80 shipping in lower us

Nice knife, quick question: I keep seeing blades with that semicircle notch on the back of the blade, what is that for?

It provides flexability in your grip, you can put more pressure on the blade with your thumb or when you hold the blade sideways you can choke up with your index finger for more control of the tip.

i dont mean the notch on the handle, I mean the little semicircle cut out on the blade itself. Where the blade meets the handle there is a little cut out on the blade, what is that for?

It maked the knife a little easier to sharpen. this knife doesnt have much of a riccasso but you would have to sharpen to the edge with is dangerous, you would have a sharp corner near your hand. On knives with a larger ricasso you end up with a dull spot where the blade joins the ricasso.
