Has been used just a couple times with firesteel strikes on spine and was stropped before use exactly as Rod suggests on his Skookum page. Edge is excellent. Has not been sharpened on a stone yet.
Full disclosure for those that inspect your blades with microscopes - tip is slightly blunt (as received new) and will sharpen up on a stone in a minute. See pictures at bottom.
