Not to be a spotter, but I thought I'd share....

I bought a new shop table yesterday. I took a quick trip over to Harbor Freight with the idea of picking up another small vise or two (thanks to the "how many vises" thread :D), and I ended up getting a shop table instead. It's a 60" solid oak table with a wood vise on one side and four felt lined drawers. It was on sale for $159. Not bad seeing that I've seen very similar 2 drawer tables selling for more than $350. It's big enough and stable enough for two grinders. In fact, I'm going to use it to mount my EERF grinder and save one side of it to build a horizontal grinder.

They only had one left in stock and it was missing parts, so they ordered one for me at the sale price. I'll post pics once it comes in and I get it together.

It's a decent height as well. I'm looking forward to getting it together.

WOW, thats one hell of a deal. So this was a sale price? I may go down to harbor and get myself a valentines day present, lol.

frossbyte, yeah, they typically sell for around $200 at HF.

As for the pegs, they're removable and can be placed in a variety of positions on the table. I believe they're referred to as bench dogs and are commonly used in woodworking.

No problem. The dogs can be placed in a variety of positions on the table with corresponding dogs in the vise at the end of the table. Then you place a piece of wood between the table dogs and the vise dogs and tighten the vise to secure it. I've never used 'em and probably never will with this particular table as I foresee it becoming a grinder table :D.

huh. that's a great price. I just built something similar and it probably ended up being not too far from that! And mine doesn't have a wood vise. I wish I had a Harbor Freight.

I have that same one. Its my future engraving bench. A great bench and very sturdy for the money.

I have 5 of them in my shop and 10 craftsman 5 drawer tool cabinets as my work stations. It cost less to build the shop with them than buying cabinets and counter tops.

Here's the table put together. It was too nice to use as a grinder bench, so I'm going to use it as a layout/assembly bench. It is the best engineered piece of equipment I've ever purchased from Harbor Freight and was a cinch to put together. It's solid, and since this picture, I've added a 4" swivel vice to the left corner. On the table is the start of my EERF 2x72" which I assembled today. I just need some pulleys and a motor, and I'll be set.

Hay Nathan,
Thanks for posting that big picture, that's good enough for a blue print. I have plenty oak off this job to build me one of those.
that would be a great leatherworking station.
