Oakley sunglasses? (or just sunglasses in general)

I have oakley flak jackets and love them. i'll only wear oakleys from now on. I also have prescription oakley sunglasses as well.
If you are law enforcement, you can get super discounted oakleys from usstandardissue.com, just need to register and send your copy of your credentials, and you'll get to purchase oakleys at a steep discount.

You might wanna check out some Costa del mar's. I wear their 'Brine' style and find them fantastic. Oakleys make me think of off duty cops playing softball.:D

I have a couple of pairs of Half Jackets and a pair of Juliets. The Half-Jackets are incredibly comfortable. I'm a big fan of the Oakleys.

On the cop subject.

I responded to a head on collision earlier today and five local police were present at one point or another. All five had on Oakley's of different models. :p

I did register and order the glasses from US standard issue. $90. From Oakley they are $210.

I own 5 different pairs of Oakley's, I lovem and I always have a pair on my face when its nice and sunny out. Oakley's are some of the most sought after eye pro for our service members and LEO, and for good reason too. I wore a pair of M Frame 2.0's while I was in Afghanistan and I loved the ability to be able to change out the lenses so easily, and having the confidence that my eyes will be protected when SHTF.
I also own a pair of Gascan's, Oil Rig's, Dispatch'es, Halbrook's, and the M Frames that I trust my peepers with when stuff gets a little intense.
Awesome shades and I doubt I will ever wear another brand.

Revos are the bomb. If you look through them, you won't buy anything else. Very durable too, have a pair that I have worn daily for 10 years and they are probably good for another 10 years.

I just bought my first Oakley's after years of crappy glasses, they are crisp, clear, and cut down on glare much more than any glasses I've ever owned. Well worth the $$$.

I recently went through all this after switching to contact lenses. Hooray for finally wearing real sunglasses!

I bought some polarized Carreras for in the car, but my primary choice was some Rudy Project Rydons on the recommendation of other shooters and riders. Takes 30 seconds and no tools to switch lenses. I have clear lenses for shooting indoors, but mostly I use their Impact-X photochromic polarized inserts. Optically great, polarized, good coverage, light weight, and stays on my face. Will stop buckshot. It's really nice having a set of safety glasses with me at all times!

Frame, three sets of lenses, case, etc. came to about $160. I was really pleased.

I've had Oakleys (Flak jackets) run over by a tractor-trailer and I just had to snap em back together, with only a small scratch on the lenses. Mind you that was in the mud, not on pavement., but still pretty good

Flak Jacket XLJ's were delivered earlier to my house and I wore them around with a few hours of remaining sunlight.

I like them! Very comfortable and it doesn't take long before it feels like they are not even on. Great clarity as well. In time I will see how they hold up. :)

I just ordered my 3rd pair of Flaks and a pair of reading glasses. None of the other companies mentioned offer the discount that Oakley does for military, LEO, and Firefighters.

I have a few sets of sunglasses, I have had the most joy from Arnette, Blackflys and Oakley. These days I seem to just stick with the Oakleys. I have a set of Flak jackets for everyday use and have a pair of Radar path with photochromic lense for on the motorised bicycle. For me the option of being able to swap lenses to suit conditions or to replace a damaged lense in a big pluss. :)

I'd been an Oakley fan for over 10 years before switching to Rudy Project.

The clarity, comfort, and construction is all superior to Oakley, IMO.

With the coupon codes they run (40%) off, the packages with multiple lenses make them cheaper than a set of Oakleys with multiple lenses.

I sold my Half-Jackets off after I ran the Rudy's for a month or so. I won't be buying more Oakleys, anymore.

Oakley for me all the way. Great lenses. I also have Maui Jim Sport but their frames don't stick to your face as good as Oakley frames during action.

there are some brands here i have never heard of...me, i wear rayban "wayfarer style" sunglasses; the only brand and style sunglasses i have ever used...never had interest in the wraparound styles that oakley and others make...

360 bucks for sunglasses? holy smokes

Oakleys have been a staple of my outdoor EDC for about 15 years.
Arnette's are also cool...good price and good fit.
Currently wearing some Ray-Ban 3183s Look good, but don't stay on so well.
