I think most folks already know this, but I wanted to acknowledge the great customer service Ive received from Mike Obenauf (and before anyone asks, Mike is not the maker that Ive been having delivery/communications problems with lately). A while back I purchased one of his folders on the secondary market, and even though the design and execution were superb, there was a minor nit that bothered me a bit. I fumed about it for a couple of months, and finally decided to drop Mike an e-mail to see about getting the issue corrected. Despite the fact that I was not the original owner of the knife, Mike graciously agreed to fix the problem. I just received the knife back from Mike and Im very impressed with how he handled the situation
quick turnaround, excellent work and prompt, courteous communications throughout the process. The man is truly a pleasure to deal with
there will be more Obie blades in my future
