Just got this but need to sell as a knife order is unexpectedly due. Mike Obenauf's model 3 is one of his most popular models, with the pleasing wharnecliff style blade.
Blade is handrubbed satin but the steel type is not stamped. My guess is it's either S30V or D2 (based on Mike's preferred steels). Action is buttery smooth (thanks to Kit Carson's guidance and teaching), blade is centered, zero bladeplay, lock-up is bank vault tight. Edge is hair shaving sharp. Bolsters and liners (engine turned as well) are titanium, and the scales are black carbon fibre. Typical Obie fit and finish.
Blade length is 3.2inches.
Blade has been lightly carried and used only to shave hair and slice paper
