Obenaufs heavy duty LP (wax)

anyone else use this on your blade steel or wood handles?
I used it to basically finish my wood handles and coat the blade with it.

Yesterday, I cut open a package my Buck 102 it had a coating of obenauf's, but there wasn't tape residue afterwards.
i'll do more testing later to see if it resists tape residue more than flitz wax.

what are your thoughts? :)

Interesting, I hadn't thought of trying that.
I use Renaissance wax for storage, and on my damascus blades for protection. Great stuff that
