ALL on forum,
I expected this fourm to be based on objective comments of blades, new or improved concepts any of us might have to present or questions. Sometimes the subject is off the normal path of site intent and provides for some interesting discussions.
Nasty apparently did like my suggestions to improve upon a good piece of handmade metalwork. Sorry if I upset your view on the purchase, my comments where for improvements and not that it was piece of junk. This Troll is not interested in trashing anybody or anything, but I suggest that if anybody can't talk about the negative aspects or provide some constructive feedback then the KIDDY room is down the hall.
Again if I offended anybody with my comments, I apologize. Remember Uncle Bill's rules for the spirit of this forum please. :D

Shark's edge, I just read the little brewha to see what was what. There was nothing wrong with your statments, except you were asking basics about a man's work who has worked with steel all his life and is arguably the finest Kami (smith) in Nepal as the Royal Kami. To me, your comments showed you did not know what you were talking about. You touched a nerve, but this will pass. I don't think the forum is about to judge you a troll or anything, but I suggest you visit the HI imports site and do some reading before offering any more critiques of Bura's work.

Tradition plays a enormous role in what the Kamis bring and there is mostly little point is asking them for minor cosmetic changes- they do what they want to do.

You will find should you ask questions there are a lot of people who will help you.

I like old sayings and the one that comes to mind here is, "don't make a mountain out of a molehill." Too much work.
 
Objectively, your comments about what you wanted changed on a handmade piece of weapon art did not belong in the same thread as the post selling it.

Objectively, you pretend to want substantive dialog and factual discourse, and then mention the kiddy room? What kind of BS is that? Objectively.

Objectively, what are your credentials to authoritatively "suggest" anything to us? You must have some, since you have no long record of posts with us to learn the value of your opinion.

Objectively, why should we listen to an unknown who makes at least seven mistakes of grammar, spelling and intent in the course of a simple paragraph of 125 words? You can't even say what you mean, even when you spell it correctly, and get your grammar "close enough for government work".

What is your history with hot dogs? Objectively.

But I got's to say this-
I reread it again Sharksedge, and you wrote that Bura should work on expanding his style or some such- what you didn't know is that Bura is the most creative Kami of all, offering the most unique blades! Check out Movie model, BDC, look at Bura's new rendition of the Kobra; the man experments.

Do read. It's fun. Lots of stuff in this forum and on the import non shopping site.

I do understand what you're saying about giving people a chance, but I think there's a strong line between refusing to brook nonsense, and hostility. Objectively. ;)

Seriously, if someone wants to address an issue, let's address it. Pretending to want to play nice while slipping in insults ain't it, and you know we've seen this before. We are still the same Cantina, mebbe a little larger, and sadly, missing a few dear faces, but we're just tired of the trolling.

Unfortunately, stupidity is rarely a capital offense.

The only alternative I see, is for everyone to give absolutely no response to posts displaying "the symptoms", but that would require everyone to pay attention. Not everyone is Josh or DIJ.

I guess, what I'm saying is, if those of us who know at least a little, and who see the MO, do not respond, the newer, less experienced posters will still have to deal with this pathetic little man searching for some way to justify his miserable existence. You see what I'm saying? If we shut him down when he pops his head up, we get accused of intolerance and hostility. If we let him run with his hot dogs, desperate need of spelling tutoring, and fevered imagination and sweaty hands, decent new members wonder why we have a psycho ward here.

What does this have to do with kukuris?

Hardly worth getting too upset over, gives the idiot way too much power.

Well I am a newcomer and blind loyalty is not an objective view. Yes, I know Bura is a well respected Kami and a master metalworker, but growth is based on improvement and that requires an open mind. If Bura tells me off then I have insulted him and he is the only one that has the right to return the insult.
I do make spelling and grammar mistakes and sometimes present my point in bad context. I am an engineer and I can speak from experience that the people who are the best don't hide behind cridentials and also make mistakes due to focusing on the matter at hand and not the fact that something might make them look bad or hurt other's feelings . Any person who thinks he is above another is just a fool in denial.
I enjoy this forum's openess to answer questions, but don't think you are any better then me or any other member. HI makes a very good product and I would like to help in any way to make them successful, so if you cannot handle critcism then tough.

Let's drop this matter, I think we have an understanding now.
