Obsession with Wharncliffe blades

LouieBob - I am interested in the 425. Is it Plain Edge??

Anyways, yes I love Wharncliffes.
I have the Chokwe, Urban, and Air.
I want a Yojimbo, working on getting a PPT.

Wharncliffes, CF, and Ti are my three obsessions.
Though now I love Damascus too lol.

I wish more knives came in a Wharncliffe alternative. I would kill for a Wharnie Endura! I love the shape for its function (and looks) but I tend to not like most Wharncliffes because they often seem "less than" compared to some of my favorite knives in terms of size, clip options, handle materials and lock types.

I finally, finally have a Centofante 4 on its way to me now. I fully expect it to settle into heavy rotation with my other favorite blades. I cannot believe it went out of production. Currently, almost all of my Wharncliffe blades are on multitools or SAKs. I suppose the Leek counts as a Wharncliffe but I still wish it was completely flat across the edge. I should do that myself some time. Same with the Chokwe.

Here's my favorite Wharncliffe of all time, thus far (ignore the Bug):

I want a 3.9" version with FRN or G-10, though!

I really dig the wharncliffs too. Been waiting to buy a yojimbo2...I have not found "the one" I really HAVE to have. The search continues.

Same here. I want to try one, but I feel like i won't get along with it well. If I could land one for the right price I'd have no choice.

I've been digging the wharncliffe, too. I sort of discovered them when I started getting into traditionals. Really like the Case Swayback Jack and whittlers with the little coping blades.
I think I want a Yojimbo, but it's kind of spendy for me, and I can't find one anywhere, anyway.. I just ordered a Boker-Plus G4. It's bigger than I usually carry, but looks like it would be really useful for a tough utility knife.

As much as you read and watch videos of people prefering a blade with more "belly" I think a straight cutting edge works well for most uses. I carried a Leek for years, not a true wharncliffe, but I liked it.

I don't own any wharncliff blades but I do like the look of them quite a bit on some knives.

Me 2.

These days I have my Tuff Lite with me and it is really comfortable and efficient ,especially for the size .
