obviously the best camp food

I have actually tried the cereal, when it went on sale in a local surplus type store (like BJ's or Costco). It's pretty darn good. Lots of fruit and stuff in it, so I don't have to add my own fresh stuff.

Ha! I must have missed this thread the first time around. I found both commercials funny.

LOL, nothing, ever, can beat bacon and eggs cooked on cast iron over the fire as the best camp food.

Throw in some skillet taters and onions and you're all set.

I know the OP was a joke, but just sayin'.

out of curiosity do you guys cook on a skillet over a fire or settled in some coals?

I'm more impressed by the bushcrafting skills. Did you see him take that plant and turn it into a bowl in like 5 seconds? That's awesome!

I have always dreamed of snagging some of Taco Bell's dried/powdered beans. I figured it would be the ultimate backpacking food. I sure do love a bean burrito!

Depends. If I'm going to be in place a while, I'll fire it up and wait for it to become a nice, smoldering bed of coals. Otherwise, I'll make a small fire and just cook right above it.
