Ocelot! Oh yes, Ocelot!

I handled an Ocelot today. it is quite a good looking knife and comfortable, but I don't think I'll get one. I really prefered the Manix jr. that I saw even though it is barely smaller than the original Manix.

I love the paw prints on the Ocalot and on the paw print Sebenza. If it wasn't for the paw prints I wouldn't be near as ready to get one.

My concern with the pawprints is that they'll fill up with gunk over time. This model doesn't disassemble for cleaning, so de-gunking the prints may be a minor nuisance.
Otherwise, I think it's a great little knife. Feels comfortable and solid in the hand, good utility blade.

A tooth brush and warm soapy water should clean them out with no problem.Plus they will add much to the grippyness.I bet there will be some very interesting mods to the prints as well.

I've got one today! Awesome knife, kind of 'outdoor backup', which can always sleep in the pocket. I'm sure it'll see a lot of use in my hands!

I especially like the construction, which is kind of 'old school' with the rivets and backlock. Nice, very nice...

I am still playing with this thing now. I can't stop. What a great knife.

I don't care for combo edges at all; otherwise I'd already have ordered the CE version just to have every kind.

I want an Ocelot in 1095. I want one in ZDP laminated with H1 (neat idea, huh?). I want one with dark blue G10. I want an Ocelot army!

I had been looking at the Ocelot in the catalog and was on the fence about buying one. Just too much money - or so I thought. Then after reading your first post, and the responses that followed, I broke down and ordered one from NGK.

It came today and all I can say is WOW!

That is truly one nice knife. It went straight into EDC, and I am ordering a second one to keep in the box. So much for it being too much money :D :D :D
