can someone who owns one tell me if the little paw prints get plugged up with lint or dirt?

That is pretty much user dependent; but in general, any nooks and crannies on a blade can accumulate lint over time.

Dirt depends upon how much you plan to roll in it.

Some reported accumulation of animal matter during game processing, so consider your uses.
