if the wood chunk was more than 12" long i would of cut a v into so the middle of the v is an inch or 2 below the paracord, filled the v with wood shavings and voila!

Man it looks like you guys had a pimping good time!!! I really miss it back home........ I'm gonna see what i can do about trying to get back there in spring. but we'll see what happens.
 
I got an 11 for the shooting contest, not a 17. Hoping I can make next gather as well. I'll run the tomahawk throwing contest and shooting if I can make it.

You guys eat grilled glocks for breakfest? :eek: you all are some tough S.O.B.'s I hope I'll be able to hang with ya at uncle E's in a couple weeks Cap. However, I'm not that tough. I just eat eggs and bacon for breakfest. When I'm feeling really mean, I might have some coffee with it. Suppose you wash those glocks down with a fresh cup of diesel fuel?

Menudo, gatorade, bc powder. The hangover killer!

I havent had menudo in years. good stuff as long as not to much hominy is in it. Id normally go the pig route with some chitlins :) get passed the smell and all is well.
 
Great post Airyca! Looks like all of you had a great time, and this really has me looking forward the the autumn gathering out here in a couple of weeks!
