October BOTM bets and guesses

Alright place your bets here on what it'll be this month.

We already have 6 folders this year and only 3 fixed blades. So I'm placing my bet on it being a 113 Skinner with nickle and micarta.

And also Tecate I posted this today just so it would be a day earlier than last month.

I'm still holding out for a 124 with upgraded steel/handle. They cannot keep the 124 Legacy with regular steel in stock, so chances are slim to none.

A Buck 102 in 20CV (s30v or s35vn would also be acceptable), brass, and ebony.

One of these days I hope I'm right because I think that would make for a really nice knife.

For whatever it's worth... The past two October BotM's have both been fixed blade knives.

Cabelas cannot keep the Alaskan Guide ones in stock so there is a market for an upgraded steel model.

Man... Don't say that! I have no use for a Vanguard with all the other fixed blades I have on hand... But I'd still definitely buy it.

That was my original thought or wish. But I cant see it just because it would be expensive.

I bet we won't see a 112 for the rest of the year. 2022 will the 50th anniversary of the 112, so next year I suspect there will be a few of them.

CJ said Buck has big plans for the 112 50th so I'm sure we will see quite a few different LE's. But above all I hope Buck will offer a drop point in the Custom shop. Especially premium steels!
