...and Tsimi is, by his last notice, due back tomorrow. Even money he will slip in early....We're ready :D

Put up the barricades and make maximum preparations. Tisimi is comming, Tisimi is comming!

..done been here, already. He showed upon the board early this AM, and apears to be catching up, and scouting things out for a blazing return. He's rested and informed. Barricades will not stop him. I think we better have a meeting

I really hate to hear this, as I'm going to be gone for about a week or so :(. The time has come to move out of the studio and I won't have an internet hookup until the 7th!

not to mention I HATE moving

Prepare well for the foretold coming of the Tsimi... well placed sources have tracked him into the wilderness of Afganistan on a hunting trip of sorts :D. As soon as all photos are transmitted, I'll get them posted.... it sounds like an interesting tale!

Have a safe week everyone!! Keep on your toes if you're going to be out in public.

Alan

Go and read the sharpening thread on the FAQ one last time...and if the poo does hit the fan keep cool  and use your Kuk wisely.

It's 13:30 pacific... he's not here. Probably just a rumour.

Go back to your homes, nothing to see here. Disperse.

What about Buddy? Keep us posted. I'll pay for an ad in the local papers if he doesn't have a home.

No recent word, and Al is off-line until Nov. 7 (earliest hook-up date they would give him at his new digs). He is now gainfully employed at the paper in Rapid, but your offer is greatly appreciated. I think he gets perks in that department. The frustration is the lack of response from his circle of friends, which includes two vets with large client lists and the Pres. of the regional SPCA. Several of these people were instumental in finding homes for Buddy's littermates, and for Al finding Buddy when the original adoptor gave him up.

Buddy can fly if need be and if it comes to that I'll pay shipping expense -- as usual. Don't let him go to the pound.

I picked it up from a wordsmith somewhere or other, who knows how to turn a phrase...and when.

On a more humorous note...

October 31st is State day for Nevada. Apparently President Abe Lincoln helped rush Nevada's confirmation of statehood through Congress so that NV could return the favor and vote for his reelection in the Nov 2nd primaries.

History aside, the fact that Nevada day and Halloween are celebrated on the same day just tickles me to NO end :D

I'm on a roll tonight, Wal. Beat the system today for a change -- only happens once in a Blue Moon!!!!!!!

Except for this year- always the weekend before the 31st for both, but this year, unbelievably, we in the rural cow counties are celebrating Nevada day the Friday before, but Halloween on the actual Halloween night? I don't get it.

Actually, the Legislature passed the State Constitution and sent the thing to Washington DC over the telegraph by morse code to make the deadline. Believe it or not, but that's what they claim happened.

Then there's another story about one of Nevada's US Senators kicking the bucket in the 50's a day or so before the election in his hotel room at the Mapes and the party keeping him on ice in the bathtub until the election results showed he'd been reelected.

Uncle Bill, I like a nice FULL blue moon too ...aaAAHHWWOOOOOoooooooo...

BOYS,
"I'M BACK"! What do I find,Paxton howling at the moon,
Rusty rambling,AC getting as far away from Wal as he can(I don't blame him)! Bet he didn't give Wal. his phone # either! Wal would be calling & whining about getting AC'S K's to "work on the wooden handles"!Course AC would never see them again!Wal likes wood so much I wouldn't be surprised if he goes out & tries to oil & sand trees around his house! I would "love" to see THAT LEO report!
