Od green emersons

]Od green blade with tan handles [/B]for the vindi, commander, and or cqc-15 and I will deplete my bank account.

cool idea - but i would prefer it the other way round - green handle - tan blade - that would be awesome!!!

btw- Rust Red would be a great color choice and it would go well with Olive or Tan.

OD would be very cool.

Maybe take a new design or line and offer it in three sizes but to start, the OD being unique to that particular line. ie... mini "this", regular size "this" and uber "this."

I might buy all three!

Slim

None. Not a big fan of OD green myself. Also not a big fan of painted blades. If just talking scale colors, I think you'd do better with some brighter colors (blue, orange, yellow, red) to contrast the black/green usually done. Maybe an "Emergency" series with the bright colors.

A yellow scale v-grind PSARK would be awesome.

Sorry to get off the OD green track...

^i like the od green handle - tan blade combo so much - would be a must have for me with any model :D

Sounds like you should offer buyers a choice of handle colors for a few of your models as a test just to see what happens.

You could do it for a limited time, and you already have the sheet G10 in stock, right?

The model requests are all over the board, so interest is there. Might be interesting to see what the most popular combination turns out to be.

This would be great, I'd buy several.

What would be really cool is green canvas and black canvas micarta scales. I'd buy them for all of my steady users.

I'm not the biggest fan of coated/painted blades, but I like the idea of different handle options. For me just about any earthtone color works and orange would be sweet as well. I'd love a stonewashed / od combo on a Journeyman, my all time favorite edc. But since that won't happen the same combo on the CQC-15 would have me buying more.

How about this but coating before the initial bevel grind and swedge grind?

The grinder satin with OD on the blade might look sweet.

It'd be cool if EKI would produce replacement scales for their knives. That way customers could just mix and match color combinations to fit their needs and personalities. As popular as "knife-pimping" has become, one would think the manufacturers would take notice and provide and allow more options for end users, that way they get a piece of the pimping pie. That said, I love my stock Emersons.

Would like to see a Gentleman Jim done, not much credit given to such an awesome knife.
