..I get a call the other night and find out my buddy is going to iraq..and he asks me if i can make him a knife..i say of course..and he describes it to me ..so i now need to find some od green kydex and some g 10 handle material..any good sources would be greatly appreciated..thanks Luke

Luke, too bad we cant find that locally or in san antonio. thanks again for doing the rest of the welds on my forge. before you give that knife to him let me see it with the g10 handle. i want to see what g10 feels like. if possible can i come over and learn a bit more from you when you start working on the handle?

Jacob..ill let you know when i start the handle..turns out we got lucky ..i was going to heat treat the knife last night ..but i didnt have any oxygen left in my bottle..things happen that way i suppose..ill let you know when i get to the handle....later..thanks Barkes..

swede I just had a heck of a time trying to find a specific color of G-10. I found that catalogs and webpages aernt to up to date. The best thing is to call around to the knife suppliers and ask whats in stock for G-10. Also ask the person on the phone about the green g-10. IT seems to vary greatly. Alpha has a G-10 listed as amber that is actually a light green see through. So try and get them to describe the shade of green before you order. I think I remember knife kits having a bunch of colors of kydex but I'm not for shure. Heres a few places I looked.
Jantz, Alpha knife supply, texas knife supplies, pops knife supplies, Trugrit, knifekits, ranger original handmade knives. I am probably forgetting a few.
