I should have known this post was coming.

Well Joshua J is probably gonna give me a bit of a hard time for this, but...there has been a bit of a production delay with the OD-1.

I know, I know, you don't even have to say it.

I'm a little hesitant on stating a release date, but don't think it's gonna be a big delay. Let me see what I can find out today, and I'll get back to everyone.

Mine works fine, so I'm not sure what the delay is all about.

I imagine it's hard to keep "deadlines" when you're making something.
One little thing can throw the whole process off.
Ya'll have quite a few models being released all within weeks of each other.
It can't be easy.

You always said you don't like giving release dates. Just be more general about it.
"They're going to be released 'sometime' in September"
That leaves it open for the first or latter part of the month...or the following year.

We have patience.......well, some of us.

Im actually ok with a small delay, lol. I have been spending a lot of money lately.

I will wait until hell freezes over for that knife. It is going to be the new rival to a BM 710 and as a composite, it will reign supreme.

I know I am putting the cart before the horse but a sprint run of the OD-1 is going to be great I remember Thomas mentioning the possibility for one. Even just a composite with CPMD2 would be great since the OD-1 already has a great frame lock and G10.

Does anyone have an in hand picture? I love the pictures in the other thread. Congrats to Kershaw on what will surely be another successful design.

Also great to hear it's American made. I applaud Kershaw (and Spyderco) for continuing to produce knives here in America.
