Blade: Vanadis 4 Extra Uddeholm Steel 4.8 mm, 63 HRC HT for max. wear resistance
Coating / blade finish: Stonewashed
Handle: G10 Desert Tan with red linners G10 1 mm, Stainless Torx security screws
Sheath: 3 mm ABS with BigTekLok with codura strap
Weight: 270 g

Hi Jamall, can I ask, what is the function of the notch on the spine of the blade, is that for striking a Ferris rod? Also, is the spine sharpened along the spine by the tip?

Sorry do not know what notch on the spine are you writting about? I cannot see any.. Maybe you think about the shadow from the TekLOK??

No. Swedge is not sharp ;)
