I had started a thread a while back asking if I should chose the ZT 0350, or Benchmade Rift. After noticing how the ZT's won't be in stock for a while, and a great new knife on Knifeworks, I grabbed myself a Benchmade 710 with M390 steel, along with a Griptilian Tanto. Grip comes in with a chipped and bent tip, so I had to send it back. But I still need a second knife to fill it's void. I was thinking a Spyderco Para Millitary 2 (For it's S30V), the griptilian again, or some odd collection of Kershaw knives. (Maybe a Damascus one, skyline, groove, volt...)
What would you guys recommend? It has to be around 100$ or less.
Leaning towards the Para.

I think i would go for another grip if you liked the axis lock. ultimately it is your decision, but it seems like that was what you were going for in the first place. however, I think that a good damascus shallot would be a wonderful addition to the family.

I would go for the para, it is a great knife that everyone should have in their collection. The style is also much different so it would be good to have in your collection. I think the bent tip was a message from the knife gods to get the para instead.

The Para I have heard very many good things about.

That said, I have been sold on Kershaw since I really started researching knives and using them. I've even made a convert of a guy who's been collecting knives for 40 years and settled into a solid Benchmade fan who bought Benchmade whenever he bought a new knife. My first knife was one of his used Griptilians (the tanto CE); but youngblood here had to find her own brand, and it's been Kershaw since I bought my Blur. I bought him a Blur too (and a Skyline in Damascus, for pretty). He's stopped carrying his Nitrous Stryker and EDCs the Blur. Shows the Skyline off to guests.
Now, I'm on a severe budget, but if you have, say, $70 to spend, you can get some FINE Kershaw blade for that. Which one would be personal preference: some people love the Junkyard Dog in Composite, some go for the Ram, I looove my Blur... OK, 'nuff said.
