Brian has steered you to the right place.Delbert makes really nice rings.
You can find precious metal mokume rings in some jewelry stores and on-line sellers, too. You may have to ask, as they are usually special order. You will need the exact ring sizes, also.

When steel and iron are welded together ,they call it damascus, which is named after the woven cloth pattern, not because it was made in Damascus,Syria.

When non-ferrous metals are fused together and patterned, it is called by its Japanese name "Mokume gane", which means "wood grained metal". The mokume that we use for knife hardware ( guards and butt caps) is normally nickel silver, copper, and brass. It can also be made with all of the precious metals - Gold ,silver, platinum, palladium, and others.
