Hi Bob,
I hope you had a good time in Australia.
I use Crown Plaza all the time when away from home, and the Hunter is only 40 minutes from my home.
My wife and I often stay there for Christmas, now the kids have kids and have other things to do.

I am off to Canberra this week, and will stay 4 days at the Crown Plaza.

I like the 194OT on the right hand side, is it one of the “complements knives”? If so you do not see them “complements knives” now a day’s… Ken

Yes, that's a Compliments knife, forget which year and I can't quite make it out in the photo. Can't find the list I made...
I did see one for sale a couple of weeks ago on eBay with a low price so I jumped on it without realizing it was a duplicate for the collection.

I use Crown Plaza all the time when away from home, and the Hunter is only 40 minutes from my home.

The Crown was hugely expensive, kind of a waste since I don't use any of the resort features. But we had some discount this trip which made it reasonable. It's a long dang drive to the mines, but we found good food at Cessnock and I went for a walk at the nearby Werakata National Park.

Also spent a night at Club Macquarie near Warners Bay. Didn't have time to do much at the coast there, but we did see the First Nations Goannas play the Newcastle team. :thumbup:

Because I use Crown some times every week, I always get up graded and pay half price; even on my food bill.
