Ode for a hobo knife

I was just eyeing this thread last week. I'm bummed they don't make the Case hobo knife with spoon anymore. The prices on secondary market are crazy.

I thought they were not that bad last year if you hang out on EBAY constantly.

I would think that a "hobo" knife or camping combo could be found at an affordable price point at Academy, REI or som other outdoor supply store.

Could be. Now there's some versions without the spoon go for 300.
I guess I'll keep my eyes open.

I love Hobo knives, but I've always found the fork to be superfluous. When everyone knows all good hobo eating is done with a spoon over the stew pot!

I was picky and all mine a brand new. I picked a stag one that I absolutely loved the covers on and passed over quite a few and I think I got it for $150. Deals are there or they were there... maybe people have rediscovered hobos a bit and prices jumped.

SIR!! That fork is THE tool for vienna sausages, smoked oysters and tinned sardines. I know it for a fact!
