Ode to a "Dink"

Google 'Urban Dictionary' Preston

I did and my eyes started to burn!! I don't think I have ever been offended like that and I was in the Marines. That was worse than what you would read in Hustl*r or some other scum rag...

All it showed was the vilest things people say with an acronym...Wow? Preston why did you send me there??

Congratulations, and that's a nice little knife there.
I've gotta get me one.
I like all the colors they make, but sure wish green was available.

Sorry Don, I only had heard about it and only looked up DINK to see if that would provide the definition. I had no idea:eek: Preston

I know you guys are kidding around but always be careful using slang. Some folks might take offense who don't understand its a joke I thought it was about the small knife also. Dinks or dinky's (such as a 305) need to be kept super sharp in case they are called on for doing something a step above, such as cutting a seat belt (or two) in a car wreck. The knife shown has metal scales and a wider blade so should do a noble job.

OH, teach him to appreciate lawn mowing, especially yours.....300

Ok!! I couldn't figure why you would send me there...Don't check it out, you'll be disgusted with what you'll read...:thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::poop::poop::poop::poop::poop::poop::poop::poop::poop:

I had a feeling you probably didn't know, I thought that I just got a weird thread, but they're all that way....

Sorry men, where I come from a DINK is a little something (a little deer you shouldn't have shot, a dinky size drink like a 6 oz. Coke, a tiny pocketknife, etc.) I thought DINK was pretty universal - but then I'm no English language expert. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the Buck 524 is for being a DINK pocketknife. OH

For illustration purposes: "these here Buck Knives ain't no DINKS!" OH

I wouldn't lose any sleep over it Preston, to quote COL Mark Rhett back at the NTC in 1999, "Bruce, they just don't know what they don't know!"

Thanks again gents for all the compliments to my family, my daughter, and her wedding - we are still enjoying the aftermath of what was a great event for us. OH
