One sentence ode: Holy fuggin' shitballs this thing is outstanding!
Purpose built, amazing.
I've got one.
It's one of many SD Sypderco knives that I own. Just looks "dangerous" in the hand, the way a Ferrari looks "fast" w/o even moving.
Great for slashing; not great for stabbing. A serrated blade tends to hang up on heavy clothing (like a thick jacket), so if you are going to actually use it for SD, it's best to go for uncovered flesh (arms/neck/face) or thin fabric (pant legs or light shirt) w/it for maximum effectiveness.
It can do some very serious damage just using the hawkbill tiip and most cuts will not be fatal (generally a good thing) unless you hit the carotid or femoral arteries.
Otherwise, it's fun just wave opening it for effect. Enjoy!
