Thanks Jeff! I know this is the opposite of what you look for in a knife but I've gotta make some variety.
 
Thanks, I thought the extended bolster would work well with this pattern and the green material. Closed length is 3 1/2" and the steel is 3/32" thick CPM 154.

Nice work on that doc blade, Jared. My test is a week from Sunday, then I'll knock out our other little project. I took a creative approach to this that I hope you will appreciate...
 
Jared - sweet work on the blade as well. I really like the long pull and the swedge. Your stuff continues to blow me away in the unique combination of traditional and modern.

Pretty cool! I think of a letter opener when I look at it. I'd say it's suited just fine for most gentlemanly duties.

I had discussed this project with Jared earlier this year and at Blade we met and he asked for my input. . I told him other than using the green fiberglass and basalt fiber composite he was to have full artistic license.

I'm glad I did because he flat out nailed it.

Here's my first Lock back. Just finished it up today and am really happy with how it turned out. Thanks to Enrique for sending me a great pattern to work with.
