Oeser Knives...

Here is a 3 5/8" gunstock I just finished up. Blade is hand rubbed CPM 154CM and handles are antique ivory paper and natural canvas micarta.

Thanks for looking!

Wow, again!

What a stunning combination of materials, line and execution. You're bringing a tremendous sense of style to all these patterns.

Kudos.

Thank you so much guys. This is based on an old IXL-G Wostenholm gunstock. I just put my spin on it.

Jared,

One of the things I like most about your knives besides the obvious marvelous craftsmanship is adding your twist with

the different handle combinations. Changing from the traditional to the "Traditional with a Twist"!

Excellent, keep it goin'!

Jeff

Recent arrival. Jared makes a finely crafted knife.

Well, I can't believe my luck.

That beautiful gunstock is in the mail on it's way to me. I can't wait to see it in my hand.

I'll post my impressions once I've received it.

Thanks, Jared.

You're very welcome Marco. Certainly some luck in your favor. Two people in line ahead of you were unable to take this one which has not happened before.

Man, those are great pictures of the Eureka jack, John. The knife just sings in those shots. Among other things, nice shield on that pattern.

As always seems to happen to me, I was out of the office yesterday when the gunstock arrived.

What can I say, other than it's as perfect to hold, open and use as it is to look at. The tolerances are perfect. The action is smooth, with great walk and talk, and the blade is shaving sharp. I am thrilled.

The only potential cloud is that it's so nice I may have a hard time bringing myself to carry and use it. I've always been adamant about my knives being tools to be used, but this one may be the exception to the rule for me.

Jared, I need you to talk me into using it like I'm sure you meant for it be used :)

Seriously, Jared, thank you for such a beautiful knife. Keep up the great work and please keep me on that list. I have a feeling this may not be the last of your knives for me.

Jared,
another stunning knife. Aside from the personal twist you put in your traditionals, I really like the lines of your "curved" handles (dogleg, gunstock, and such). It's very personal and very very nice :)

I was thinking the same thing earlier myself, the curves of the Eureka Jack are as about perfect as it gets.

I can vouch for the gunstock, smooth as butter and very comfortable in my hand.

I'll admit I am not a fan of Micarta but this one looks super sweet especially with the acid etch on the steel.. I sure hope you are going to put her to some good stout use!. She looks like she could handle most anything.

That is so very way cool.

Isn't it? Really nice work :)

Sorry, I was a bit late posting that! Just been looking at the website, absolutely amazing (the website design is pretty good too)! :) Hard to believe that you've been making knives so short a time Mr Oeser, you have incredible talent :)
