Of light Snowshoes and Large Folders

So I hope I'm not digressing this thread too much.
I'm looking for easy on and off bindings for the tall "maine Guide " shoes on the left.

I like these , just nervous about the plastic buckle for the heel strap.

As well as any opinions on the bindings listed in my earlier post. Any advise for a novice that wants , simple , stable , easy on and off , and just buy once.

1894,

I like the look of the Havelick Super Straps. They appear similar to my Northern Lites straps, which track straighter than my others and are very easy to off/on. However, all appear to be well made.

ilbruche,

Very, very cool shoes. Your bindings are much different that the wife's. Do you mind telling where you got them? Here's a pic of her modified bear paw G&V's (made in Quebec). Now you've got me thinking you and the wife have it right - curse you BF :)

One of my neighbors gave them to me. :D They are old Snocraft shoes made in Norway, Maine.

I might have to see about new bindings. Any snowshoe binding with laces or pullcords is pretty much useless. Once that sort of stuff gets iced up you'll be wishing for a rubber or neoprene binding. The simpler the better IMHO. No one wants to screw around with iced up bindings when it's 1 degree outside.
