Of the other knife carriers you know, how many carry carbon steel?

I rarely see a caron steel knife blade on anyone I know (unless I look in the mirror).

I EDC a Case CV Steel Amber Bone Stockman along with a SS Endura and a Sog powerlock. I add in the Howling Rat when I can.

Only stainless for all the folks I know that carry knives. I personally carry knives with both carbon steel and stainless steel blades.

Like many others on this forum, I have a number of knives both carbon and stainless I rotate to carry. Most days its more than one knife.

HOWEVER, the one knife I do carry every day is a 1095 carbon steel Moormaker stockman. Just an incredable cutting steel.

I use a carbon slipjoint - holds an edge like a mother and real easy to sharpen up and maintain keen-ness.

I carry both, but have more stainless folders than carbon steel. I really wish CS would bring their line of Trailguides back out, I'd snag some more in a heartbeat. One of the few modern designs in a good carbon steel.

I have a carbon steel folder in my EDC rotation - an opinel. I have another two carbon steel folders in the mail -- you can pick up some nice pieces for dirt cheap if you're willing to root around a bit.
