Off Center Blade

Thanks again Anthony. If I didn't know you were a stand up kind of guy, I'd almost think you were pulling our legs and seeing how many guys you could trick into trying this! But I believe ya, I believe ya! :D

Love to see some pics, too!

Like I said and once more, short gentle pushes.. And I promise ya'll when it comes to firearms and knives I just share my experiences with the rest of the gang in my respective communities.. And sometimes some folks may disagree with my methods. Thats fine.. Like the old saying goes, "It works for me". :)

Hey Anthony, I think you have those special powers in your fingertips that is the thing of legend. I have this pain in my....uh...................nevermind :D

Notice I didn't say don't don't do it, just be careful. You may not be bending the blade but actually loosening up the joint just enough to allow the blade to go to center. I know when putting a knife together, if it's too tight it will invariably cause the blade tip to be off center. Slackening will usually put it right in the center.

This is very true and one has to remember these blades are already hardened steel with sharp blades. However, with proper placement and short little gentle strokes you will get the desired result. Think of it as how we fellas used to treat our very young women all these years ago. You just cant man-handle her.. :D Oh and yes I have magic thumbs too. In fact I am a magic man. :)

That answers what was going to be my next question: "WHY does this work?"

Absolutely hilarious thread linked to Waynorth! (NOT laughing at your problem in that thread Charlie, just the responses that followed)!

Now I ALMOST hope my next knife comes off center! ;) :D .....Just kiddin'!
