Off The Hook One Off Integral Knight Khukuri For Blade :)

This is an incredible piece of work by Jason. Just jaw dropping in person. Joe describes it well as far as I am concerned.

Guys the Khukuri is SOLD and it went for $ 6500.00 dollars :)

Ted Hase is the very lucky winner

Only knife people would make something like this as pleasant as it went. Everyone was a Gentlman and I can not thank you all enough

Jason & I are so thankful

I hope Caleb does not mind me attaching this great picture of this remarkable piece

This blade IMHO was the show stopper at Blade

Joe,

Thanks for giving me a chance to handle Jason's Khukuri. It is a beautiful knife and in the hand makes you want to cut something.

Congratulations to the new owner.

Jim

Thank you Doug C and jjtjr for the kind congratulations. And my deepest appreciation and gratitude to you Jason for creating a breath-taking, one-of-a-kind, magnum opus, and to you Joe, for working so hard to bring these magnificent works of art to the public's attention.

Ted

Thank you

Guys like you are a credit to the game

Seriously thank you

You have acquired a very special piece that will certainly be a statement in blade culture forever

I have traveled the world and spent many days in museums etc. and I have never seen a Khukuri that comes near to even touching this piece.

Truly the finest Khukuri I have ever seen

I am still wobbly from the over indulgences of blade, was lucky enough to handle this magnificent work of art, and lucky to call Jason and Joe friends!

To anyone who has yet to own or handle a piece made by Jason Knight........MAKE IT HAPPEN!!

you will never regret it!!

Jeff

Jason is the MAN!*(who has a lightbulb head)!

The piece was well balanced, lively, fast and incredibly light for what it is, but would still hit like a hammer before splitting and slicing whatever needed to be cut.

It went for a fair price and will be a game changer.

Joe did an AWESOME job making it all come together, proud to know my brother-from-another-mother,

Blade ROCKED this year....shoutout to Wulf!

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

Joe it was a pleasure to spend time with you at the show. This piece of Jason's was without doubt THE KNIFE of the show for me.

This knife has a feel and a balance that defies belief. The construction is perfect with a design and line that marries perfectly with the fantastic damascus. There are few makers on the planet who could achieve this result, and none as humble and down to earth as Jason.

Joe, I thank you so much for all you do for us at BF and knifemaking in general.:)

STeven my dear friend a Blade show without you just is not the same. I am so glad you came this year. You are right this is a game changer for Jason and expect him to glide into the stratosphere by blasting out these incredible pieces

Once he gets thru the last of the Khukuri project blades expect another insane project :)

Steven you are the definition of class and as long as there are patrons of the blade arts like you we all can not lose.

Thank you, your participation and your presence at the show was a highlight for me

I am at your disposal my friend

Thank you Joe you made this HAPPEN!
Thanks to all of you who participated, you know we had fun!
Congrats to Ted Hase who owns the knife
God bless this community of makers and the collectors who support it

I've thoroughly enjoyed this thread from day one, and still haven't been able to figure out the right adjectives or adverbs to use in adequately complementing the piece and/or Jason. "Magnificent" will just have to do for now.

Bob coming for you that means a lot

Thanks so much for posting

EPIC knife
Legendary maker

Doesn't get much better. He'll never make another one but if he did the investors, collectors, and patrons would probably bid it up to $10k or more. It's that good.

Joe, excellent work by you too my friend. Didn't see anyone work harder than you at the entire show.

STeven, shoutout to you too bud!

I've got to chime in and thank all of these folks for the best Blade my wife and I have ever attended and being able to hang out with Paranee and The Wrecking Crew plus handling that Kukhri several times, it doesn't get any better!

It really was a once-in-a-lifetime piece to have acquired.....words cannot describe.....at what it went for a deal like any at the show, IMHO. :)
