Got the S.R. Johnson video from Centercross video, 2 DVD set I'm gonna get a beer, pop the dvd in to the player hop into bed and learn how to make a subhilt fighter.

well its been over 10 hours now how was the dvd?

Overall very informative. If you are interested in learning how to grind a double edged blade there are some very good tips.

Steve has some bad safety habits, Like wearing gloves when operating his equipment.

Did you guys know Steve is missing a thumb?

Was Steve's missing thumb, alluded to in the video? Maybe he lost it in the war.:jerkit: instead of grinding it away with an abrasive belt.

The Video is most excellent. Aint nothing like the mean look of SHF .
But the knife is not very practical, as you can only hold it one way.
I think every KM should still make it, for sheer beauty of it :)

On gloves and safety when grinding: me thinks the jury is still out .
Many a KM had much of skin and bone saved when the belts chewed
through the gloves, instead of one's skin . Definitely a NO-NO when
grinding on a disk grinder.
