Well, survived another round with the VA hospital. Basic report: good health for what I've been thru and my age. Damaged parts but nothing life threatening at present.

Glad to hear that you survived another bout with the VA Bro.
I am going to try to deal with them when we get back home.
I have been told that I like 3 days serveing enough time to get benefits, but others that have gotten out on medical discharges with only 2 weeks service have gotten full benefits so I believe I should be able to get them as well.
Perhaps a letter to my represenative may get the ball rolling.
I really hate to go that way sith all the stories I have heard about the VA.

If you can get into the system there are some decent benefits, Bro, so take a good shot at it. A major benefit is you get your meds at either no cost or reduced cost depending on your income and this helps a lot.
