Off topic at the hospital with my best friend

So my best friends 14 year old son was stabbed in the heart today while skating in the church parking lot behind there home the piece of trash was 22 years old! What the hell is wrong with the world? I don't care what any one. Thinks when you're 22 your a frakking grown man. What kind of man stabs a kid?!? I guess the guy was calling my friends kid a fat ass and when my friends son told him off the punk stabbed him in the heart! I wish the times of good old public lynching were still around. A 14 year old getting stabbed at a church what the frak?

They caught the guy. There were 4 arrested. It happened in Salt Lake City UT In Sugarhouse a relatively nice area

I deal with such people every day of the week, makes me sad about the future. Fortunately my Godchildren remind me what great kids are out there as well... !!!!

My thoughts are with the young victim.

Man, I don't even know what to say about this kind of crap anymore. I used to live around this type of people in Brooklyn and never wanted to wake up because, no matter what I said to anyone, no one really did anything or cared.

Good lesson in this day and time, that sadly...it's best to walk away (and not talk back). If you're CCW, walk faster....if they pursue, finish it.

Fact is, the bad guys won't fight fair. Better to walk away and live, or at least if you're CCW give them a chance to.

EDIT: Makes me sad to write things like this. America still has hope...but I hope we don't continue down this path of lack of appreciation for life.
 
Sorry to hear this, man, and wish for your friend's son to have a complete recovery. Ya know...some people do deserve a long life. May your friend's son live long and prosper. May his attacker live long and suffer...in a harsh prison.

i wish there was a excuse or motif behind actions like this. because this is exactly why america is in a downward spiral.

i hope the victim a speedy recovery and he's in my thoughts.

-and as for the 22 year old i hope he finds a nice boyfriend(s) while in jail
 
Terrible choices people make in the heat of moments have everlasting consequences they just can't imagine. Victims, their families and the idiot that commits the crime.

A friend of my son was killed (stabbed) New Years eve 8 years ago. What the family went through was unbelievable. In a small town like I live in everything reminded them of their son and brother. I think the kid that did it got out in a year and a half.
 
Prayers for a speedy recovery. Don't know what else to say. Some people just have no regard for others.

Sorry to hear about this. I pray that he comes through it to live a long and happy life.

As to the idiot that committed the crime, I hope the system swallows him indefinitely like a black hole instead of spitting him out after a short, unjust period of time like it too often does these days.
 
i'm shocked.
sincere positive hope for the young guy.
the stabber will meet his fate & i doubt he will be ready.

And I will take this incident as a reminder to maintain situational awareness always. Seems we are not ever truly safe, no matter where we are. :(
