Hey Moose I just got my first kayak. Took it out yesterday and I am already planning some camping trips with it. Should have got one YEARS ago!

Freakin awesome possum, brother. I was the same way. I waited 33yrs to make my first trip, and that, makes me a dumbass, because I should have been doing it all along.

WOW! Seriously?

Yeah, I been feeling stressed and aggressive alot lately, work has been kinda rough. Some penis at a gas station was mouthing off about something, caught me the wrong way. I was heading over to have a word with him, when one of the guys from my crew convinced me that fighting in a gas station parking lot was bad.

Then, some asshat in the hotel was causing all kinds of problems, so, I called the front desk, informed them, they came up to tell the guy to bring it down, and he got a little physical with the desk clerk, shoving and stuff.

I'm not the "fighting" kinda of guy, but lately I been itching for a good dust off for some reason.

Its cool now, once I figured it out. Like I said, wearing myself down paddling and pushing was enough to put this Moose, back on the pond.

Always better to try to stay cool, good for you!

I know how you feel though; so many thoughtless morons on this earth.

Went I get that itchin', I stay at home now. Last time it ended with the police getting involved and that wasn't fun. :(

Don't you just hate when that happens?

Looks like it fell gently. Just a bunch of scratches on the FIL's van. I've been trying to get him to get rid of that thing for years, maybe he'll see this as a sign.

BK9, to the Rescue!!!

:D

Moose

Gotta check with the owner of the house first (we're renting), but I hope she says I can chop that sucker up. Need to test a few virgin blades, and it'll give me the raw materials for this month's challenge.

Yeah, fighting is never a good thing when you are carrying, and I know you, like me, most always are. Good choice, tho I'm sure we would have bailed you out in a jiff! Lol.

Yeah, Colt in my Galco Concealable. I remembered after I got back in the van.

Moose,

I need to put together a kit for the kayak. What kayak related items do you take with you? Safety and first aid stuff? When I take it camping I will have my regular pack with me but for short trips I wont be taking that. Just the essentials.

Be careful with that whole situation, I've had to go diving more than once for blade rescue. Nevernind, no alcohol in that pic.

Oh trust me I was. Thats my favorite knife. If it went in that pond I wouldnt leave till it was back.

Just imagine you were backpacking, and capapble of carrying 90lbs of gear on your back. A PFD and and some wet/dry bags, and your set.

On the wet/dry's they don't have to be the expensive kind. I found 35L (huge) bags for like $7, so, spend your money wisely.

Good point! I work at a huge out door retailer (Theres one close to you in Sevierville/Kodak). My discount on the house brands is pretty good so I sport the stuff. Just so happens our dry bags are really good too! I use one for my sleeping bag.

Gotta be Bass Pro Shops.

You and me, we might be getting ready to work out a deal, cause I likes me some gear. :D

Damn, that is the first actual pic of the production models I have seen. Thanks for the pics Moose. Now go find Eli and get your money's worth out of him, you earned it. Just keep your hands off Flexxx. He is mine. ;)

Maybe it's a late rut Moose. Meese(s) like to knock things around at least once a year. Nice kayaks. Wish I had one.
