I've already got mine. My next quest is a blackjack bk5. Those suckers are gorgeous. I've never seen one for sale. This may take awhile

What size boxes do you use in that versipack? Is that the jumbo versipack?

I've thought of getting one but only the mongo will fit even a 3600 box and $125 seems a bit steep.

Yes its the Jumbo Versipack, I stuck a patch over the maxpedition logo LOL
I use two 3500 series & still have room for other gear.

Got my versipack for a damn good price, I also wouldn't want anything bigger in size for a shoulder bag.

Yeah, I noticed that yesterday. I should get some. I need to quit spending money though, however little it is. Getting ready to get laid off.
 
Been looking at the solar charger too. Curious to hear about that. Good call on the hammer gel. Goo has saved my ass a time or two.

Please review the charger, been interested for a bit. I've seen messenger type bags with the front flap covered in solar panels, been wondering how useful that would be for a laptop (or tablet and phone).

How much were the gels?
 
I think they were $1.35 each. The Charger was $50, but I'd been wanting one for awhile. I'll read the instructions and try it out this weekend. I'll post a review in gadgets n gear then a link here. Trade, I agree about them being life savers. I used to keep 4 or 5 in an old devon kit box attached to my pack strap in the Corps. They were used a lot. Gu, Hammer gel, clif shots etc. are great!
