You guys are making me hungry!

Played around with my 14 and some pasta sauce. I like the result.

Cool finish Nsvens! Pasta sauce is a new one by me, kinda gives it a marbled look. I just stripped my 14 a few days ago, may hafta try this. Got new kydex pants for mine in today. Thanks Godspeed!(!)

That brown kydex looks good man! Thanks, yeah I did around 10 coats or so. Kept dabbing it on with a paper towel then washing it off after it sat a bit. I think I might do a vinegar soak to darken it up.
 
So I took off work today to go hang out with Pointy and head down to New Graham knives down in Bluefield Virginia. Turns out it is a lot closer than I thought, and was a heck of a good time. For being a fraction of the size of SMKW, they had far more decent stuff in far less space. The owner(?) was there, and we got to talking to him for quite some time. Left out with an American Kami Ti Spork, and a small and large Tek Lok. Went and got lunch at their little diner/deli thing off from the pharmacy, and had a burger that I would put against the ones Guyon is always spouting off about any day of the week. Was about to leave, decided I needed to go ahead and get that Kershaw Blur that had been calling my name, so I went back in, we ended up talking to the boss man again for a bit, went back out to the car, and had one of the employees holler at us to come back in as they had literally just received a ZT 560, so we went in and shot the bull some more and checked out that awesome knife. All told, we spent about four hours there total. They had some Beckers, although not that many (they did have a few that had come in right as we left though) and some ESEE stuff. Some of the cooler things were the Microtech knife that is similar to the ZT 0777 that I got to see first hand, the ZT 560, and what seemed to be a Chris Reeve gladius looking thing a la the Project series he did. That thing was crazy. Here is a pic of Pointy holding it.

All in all, had an awesome time, and will definitely be going back. After we got done, we headed out to the gun stores so I could finally get around to figuring out which gun I wanted to get. Settled on the model and will probably be setting out to get one here in the next week or so.
 
Looks like fun. I wish there were a store like that around here.

Did you settle on the Sig Mosquito?
 
I have to get me and my kids on a plane at 7:30 a.m. tomorrow. Urg.
 
Settled on a Sig P2022. Thing was a perfect fit for my hand, and does everything I am wanting it to.

Oh haha forgot about that. It's all good. I tried to be the second to last post in the last chat thread but ended screwing that up and having a 1000'th post that said "almost last" :p
 
Watching some Netflix and crashing, Really hope I dont wake up to an email saying they wont be sending the 16! Hope you all have a good night.
