This thread went wrong so fast.
I just got home and unpacked from an annual kayak trip with a bunch of friends and this is exactly how every camp fire discussion ended up.

No pics BMW but the 16 and 4 made all 3 fires. Even Saturday morning in the rain.

Hey, Ausse. I found an old thread where you were compass shopping. You ended up with a Silva Ranger IIRC. Have you used it? If so, how do you like it?
 
G'day mate , haven't had a chance to use it yet as all I do is work :( I dunno if it's al compasses , but when my sog knives jungle canopy is near it , it affects the compass badly. Just magnetism I guess ?

Yeah, compasses work better when you keep metal away from them. lol
 
I know that . Kinda hard to keep it away from any metal when it's stored in the same place all my gear and knives are.
