My two beagles vanished last tues. I have called, driven, posted flyers prayed and everything else I could think of to find them . I had about given up hope . when the wife call and said that the spca had picked up my female and was bringing her to the house:thumbup: she is tired and has sore feet but is home. and since she was found ( I figured some one had stolen them) I have hope to find C.J. and an area to look

I can't imagine your worry. I'll be sending some mojo your way for your other pooch. Give that old girl a nuzzle on the chin and a scratch behind her ears.

Man that sucks. I am glad you got one of em, and I hope you get the other. I bet the pooches are missin eachother...

That just blows to have your dogs disappear like that - here's hoping that the other turns up real quick.

Man, I'm happy to hear that one of them has returned. I hope that you are able to find the other one too! Please keep us posted as it can be horrible to lose a dog.

Thanks for the good will. Retta is snuggled up next to the wife as I type. she was used as a puppy factory untill she started having trouble having pups at 3 1/2 both her and C.J. where owned by some one that ,well lets just say was laxed in their care. I could have called some one and maybe got them help, or dig a don't use any more gun out of my hord trade him and know they would be helped, we have been harrassing rabbits for the last 2 years:D

Here's hoping the other fellow turns up soon, safe, and sound. I can appreciate how nerve-wracking the uncertainty about his whereabouts must be.

All the best,

- Mike

Sad to hear. I am glad you got one back, best of luck for the other.

Keep us posted.

I've got my fingers crossed for you, losing a dog is like losing a family member.. We're thinking of you....

If someone did steal them then I hope they get what's comin to them big time !!!! Great to hear ya got one back, Sending smoke from over here that she is reunited with her buddy soon !!!!!

Maybe if you take Retta back where she was found, she can help locate the male.

I was also thinking along these lines. At least use the spot where she was found to re-center the search area. Don't know if people use craigslist in your area, but at least here in Detroit use the "lost and found" section for lost dogs.

My uncle used to have a beagle that would take off all the time. It had a bad habit of taking off after deer. He was once found the next county over.

Sending smoke and prayers, hoping for the best. Good luck

Good luck in finding your other dog my friend.

I can’t imagine what you must be going through.

Smoke sent.

I hope you find your other beagle soon, my beagle used to run off like that, well, she still does but not as far now.

I'm sure he'll turn up soon, keep us posted, J.

Roy, I'm so glad that Retta is safe and home! I'm praying that you get C.J. back today. Keep us posted.

Best wishes...

Craig's List is, as mentioned, a great resource. Also go online for Beagle Rescue and notify them, as well as any area newspapers..which often list lost/found pets for free.

From my personal experience with beagles...they are loveable, little goofy, and one of the things they do VERY well...

is get lost.
