Off Topic - need flashlight advice

Just a quick word of caution. Always best to treat lithium batteries with care. They can get pretty dangerous under a few circumstances.

A quick read through battery university and candlepowerforums stickies would not hurt.

Hope your Dad likes the light [emoji106]

Any Maglite Twisty would be nice and easy. I got my rents, who are both over 80, each a MiniMag Pro + and loaded them with Energizer Lithium AA's. Lithium cells so they don't leak and ruin the light. Load the threads with Nyogel and they will stay smooth as butter. In fact, any twisty you get, get some Nyogel too. I would suggest adding a bright colored paracord lanyard too. I used some of the GID paracord. Helps them find and hold the light.
FWIW: Mag now makes the ML25IT which is a two C Cell twisty.
Also you could search Magnetic or variable control flashlights. Sunwayman makes a few nice ones, as seen earlier.

No budget light McGizmo AquaRam. A twisty made of solid titanium & runs on a single 18650. It will out live them and you.
