Life has been kind of a b!tch lately. After graduation, I was offered a killer position with one of the top rehab hospitals in the nation working exclusively with traumatic brain injuries and spinal cord injuries. Then the state department of regulatory agencies (DORA) put a hold on my license and put it under board review. It's taken nearly two months and the hospital gave me until July 31 (next Tuesday) to get it taken care of, otherwise they were going to withdraw their offer. I was devastated, because I didn't expect it to happen in time.

This morning, I got a call from HR...and my license was approved and activated, effective TODAY! I get to start on Monday! I'm so happy, I'm gonna go get a fat cigar and take a few Becker's out to destroy some innocent lumber (fallen lumber of course!). I have 2 months of frustration to relieve and nothing better than chopping and cutting stuff.

Damn, I'm a happy man. Now carry on, Beckerheads... I just needed to get this off my chest!!!

Congrats!! Glad things worked out in the end. And, you are right. Nothing like a cigar, fallen lumber, and maybe a moderate amount of alcohol. Beat the crap outa those Beckers! Makes em feel loved.

It's a great knife and I hate to give it up. However, I can't get a good comfortable grip on it, since I've got Warrior hands. I tend to use every knife I have, so I don't keep knives for display (yet). The other is that I double-paid a bill on accident, and I'm needing to recoupe some short-term cash.

Give the earplug method a try. First attach the bottle carrier to your slingpack, then attach that to your woman. Insert the earplugs. Let me know how it works for you.
