Been away for a while, wanted to show off our new addition. Dayton 10lbs 6 1/2 oz. Big Sister is such a help, not jealous at all.

HOLY COW!!! I thought our two at 10 lbs and 9 lbs 11 oz were big.

BTW, did you cut the umbilical cord with one of your knives? I tried to convince my wife, but the look on her face was enough to tell me, "don't mess with the pregnant lady!" I also reconsidered when I thought more about my wife in labor with easy access to a knife, and me just standing there as an easy target. :eek:

Wow, your daughter almost looks exactly like our granddaughter Isabell.
She is 3 years old right now.
 
Congratulations all around - and I agree - that is one big baby!
Your daughter must be equally excited. Little girls seem to love babies. We too have a new daughter due (week before Christmas) and my oldest can't stop talking about her new sister to be....
On the other hand, my son doesn't seem to care less.
 
Thanks all- I'm looking at getting a HEST or Izula (when funds allow)- one of those can be his first knife. I'll have to try it out for him though.
And no knife for the cord, just the scissors at the hospital, don't think that would have gone over real well with the wife.

Congratulations! Those are two beautiful children. I can understand why you're such a proud father!
