This is a shop talk type of question, except it has nothing to do with knives...
The 3/8" carbon electrodes in my vaporizer have turned to mud. The little stumps that are left are barely submerged anymore. I was thinking about replacing them with some 5/8" pure copper rod drops I have. I'm aware the surface area is considerable different, but as it is I have to add quite a bit of salt to the water to increase the conductivity enough for it to do anything. I'll turn them down if they're too big.
I figured that before electrocuting myself, filling my house with toxic gas and setting myself on fire, I'd post the idea here first and see if anybody smarter than me knows something about the subject that I should know...
Thanks
Nathan
