I don't drink 'em anymore either...no good at it and I break
things...but for you knife junkie's that do here is a won-
derful recipe for a hot day. In a tall ice tea glass fill
it with ice...(no tea whatsoever)...then add a good Mexican
beer...something light like Tecate or Corona...next add in
a shot of premium Tequila...then slice a nice juicy lime in
half and squeeze the entire half section into your glass.
Last but not least a few dashes of salt...do this slowly
because the whole thing will try and foam on you...now sit
back and enjoy the trip...don't play with any guns or knives,
just let this dream drink take you away...works best on a hot
day...enjoy for me, wow...fond memories!!!
 
Hey! A hefeweizen thread?!? Beer and Busses... go figure!

I used to drink a lot of Shoferhofer(sp) Hefeweizen while living in Germany. It's pretty common in Rhineland-Pfalz. Although, I did enjoy a good Pirminator now and again...:eek:

These days, I drink a lot less. Not because I don't enjoy it but because I can't find "good" beer here. If anybody knows where I can find a distributor for "good" hefewiezen in the states... let me know.
 
I'm with Gator. No beer for me, I like a dry red wine or white zinfendel. Asti is awesome too. Spritzers, wine coolers, OK, I will drink about any wine.

For you Corona fans out there I gotta tell ya probably the best beer made in Mexico is called, I know this will sound wierd, Bohemia. Corona is really weasel urine. I suspect most beer swilling forumites residing south of the San Onofre Nuke Plant will back me up.

That said, my personal favorite brew is an English ale called Old Speckled Hen. Dark, smooth with a healthy kick. ;)
 
With a couple of exceptions it looks as if most of us are just as big of BEER SNOBS as we are KNIFE KNUT SNOBS!!!! :-)

Give me a good ole' COORS LIGHT laddie and I'm happy as hell!

Don, what's that you say of my lovely Corona:( :eek: :( I don't really drink alot of beer unless I'm watching a race on TV. My favorite is Captain Morgan spiced Rum. A shot of that with a coke back is hard to beat. Unless you mix the two together and then it tastes like a vanilla coke. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm:D

Man I just wish I wasn't at work now.:p
