I know this is off-topic but it seems to be an appropriate place to ask this question. I am 18 years old, a freshman in college and havebeen considering joining the millitary. I was wondering if you guys think its a good idea. Thanks.

Finish school first!!!!! Then, if you still want to, join the military.

Join the reserves, not ROTC, go to basic training & see what enlisted life is about while staying in school, then, is you haven't completely become pre-disposed to enlisted life, then, try for a commissioning program...
