Offcentered bummer

Here is a pic of my Small 21 tanto. A bit fuzzy because of the zoom, but it appears closer on the grind than yours, but still a tiny bit different.

And each side of the grind...

I'm not sure if they are still doing the sharpening by hand. A little bit of uneveness is very common in hand ground blades.

That's 'way off' ? I guess my standards are low.

It would be fine for me as long as there is relatively even spacing from the blade to the frame so no blade to frame contact then it's good enough for me. It'd be a user anyways

I notice the pictures actually made it look a bit better than it really was. At first glance it really stood out. Well, enough to bug ya at least on a knife of this caliber i guess

I must have low standards too :)

Well, I was going to put double lugs on it anyways.... at least that's what I'm telling myself to feel a bit better about not having this brand new knife for another month or so. Haha

Looks great. Just in time for the Holidays. Enjoy.

I would have sent it immediately back to KSF for a replacement. If they didn’t have another then CRK would be the choice.

I’m surprised KSF or CRK didn’t catch that off-grind.

Glad to see you got your knife back before Christmas ... to open all Santa's goodies ... and it is noticably a better grind. Glad to know CRK still cares about putting out quality knives and their customer satisfaction.

Thanks for the update JJ
