First vote, 3 blades! I'm going to lobby hard for this option...let's make this knife as traditional as it gets. Think about that iconic stockman knife image as you cast your ballot in 2018, people. Don't let your countrymen down!!

Sk, before I vote, is there no chance of a 3 blade with a pen instead of the spay?
Correct. It will not be included, not because it's not possible, but because the cost for Buck to engineer that and add it would make this knife too expensive.

Thank you for the clarification. I knew it would come up, eventually. Same with a punch or caplifter for the 3rd blade.

I voted 2 blade clip and sheepfoot. These are the two most often used blades on a stockman by almost everyone, and there are other benefits, besides. Only 2 springs, so thinner and lighter, and less expensive, so other premium features can be added while keeping the cost down.

I voted for three blades but I wanna buy one no matter which one wine. Even if it’s the sheepsfoot and spay option. Lol

I'm glad we're underway:cool:

I won't vote in this as I don't mind EITHER a 3 blade Stockman OR a 2 blade Clip/Sheepfoot

Not so sure about the Spey/Sheepfoot though :D:eek: Surely it can't happen....

Thanks for the clarification about no Pen, Punch, or Lifter I understand it would make costs unrealistic.

Thanks, Will

Two blades, clip and sheepfoot for me, please. I wouldn't use the spay, and added thickness of the third blade would probably keep me from carrying the knife much.

Plus the added benefit -- leaving off the spay blade would save money that could then be put into other upgrades like handle material.

I think I would be happy with either the standard 3 blade stockman or the 2 blade (clip/sheepfoot), with my preference leaning heavily towards the 2 blade version. I simply find that I do not use the spay blade.

However, I do not think I will be deterred from purchasing one regardless of the choice.

If it is a 2 blade, will both blades be on one end or either end?

Had to think about it, voted for clip&sheep but would be as happy with 3 blades. I have a feeling either of those two options will come out ahead so it's really a win-win for me.

I think I remember that 2 blades would open on opposite ends, from one of the previous threads.
