Official BeckerWest 2015 Spring Gathering April 17th-19th

I wanna say thank you to everyone at the gathering. I had a great time and I'm disappointed I hadn't come out before. I definitely plan on going from here on out and not just for one day like this last weekend. I've been inspired to get on these forums and hopefully learn some more from you guys.

Yeah man, it's a good place to hang out. Go check out the exchange and I'll guarantee you totally slut out buying knives.

Bill Siegle dual wielding Kukris. Just look how happy he is.
Including his Effingham RBK. Amazing knife!

My Friday morning breakfast.
Fillet mignon, a Cinnabon, and a fine Bridgeport.
We eat well out here! :D

Here is Bills RBK and my Becker handled Siegle Bolo.

The new BK23 Skeleton!
I think this will make an excellent companion knife in the BK&T lineup.

To misquotos making sweet love.

Ethan and Faler reminiscing of their days on the Miami Vice Squad.

710 might be cutting his finger...Bill looks concerned...Mrs. 710 is as well...Abrasion wishes he would have went to the Bruno Mars concert instead of camping.

Just joking! 710 didn't cut himself! Bill is happy...so is Mrs. 710
Abrasion has left....to go to the Bruno Mars concert.

Ethans prototype BK21 RBK.
This is an amazing knife! I can't wait to buy one.
Take my word for it. You all are gonna love this thing!

Beardlove and Abrasion whispering sweet nothings and talking fondly of memories past.

Ethan doing some Fiday night food prep.

The Roast beef and beans were amazing!

710 batoning through a loaf of bread with the RBK.

Saturday morning camp.

Awesome-O ran the fire competion.
Each of us was given a flint rock, stiker, a piece of char cloth, joot rope, and a piece of fatwood.
We could use two knives and had to scavenge the forest for material to build a fire.
I enjoyed this fire competiotion a lot.

A close up of Awesome-O's beard.

Giving a quick tutorial to the participants before the competion.

Fire starting materials.

710 putting up smoke and prayers that he may win.
He's actually got his char cloth lit and put into the birds nest of joot rope.

The RBK was cheering me on in the background.

Almost there!....

Victory!

The fire competion winners!!

The tomahawk winners:

The chopping winners:

The slingshot winners:

Faler showing off some of his knife swallowing techniques.

Sasquatch sighting....

Sasquatch sighting confirmed.

Man, I can't wait until May! This looks like a superb great fun time! I gotta start getting my shiz together, East gathering it right around the corner. Thanks for sharing all this! Very nice summary of events. And awesome pics

I gotta say, the weather was the best this time around, I was actually sweating. I miss all of you already.:(

Faler showing the wonders of fatwood.

For dinner Sunday night Ethan made his famed Ultimate Pork Loin of Death!
Beardlove was the official assistant kitchen bitch.
He held that loiny goodness while Ethan stuffed it full of deicious herbs, spices, and garlic butter.
It was then wrapped in bacon, roasted on the spit, and thouroughly enjoyed by all.
I will have sweet dreams about that wonderful UPLOD until I am a very old man...

Oh...my....GOD it was delicious!!
It tasted even better than it looks...

Saturday nights fire got...hot.
It just about blew us out of our chairs at one point it was so hot. :D

This might have been the best gathering we've had yet!
The fun, food, and comraderie were second to none!
I even got to meet a real life pirate! Pro Tourist showed up Saturday and I really enjoyed talking with him. Great guy.
It's taken me a day and a half to relax and settle myself.
I'm ready for the next one!
Thanks Ethan, Ka-Bar, and those responsible for letting us camp in a beautiful spot in Oregon.
